Our popular Photo of the Month contest is now open for November. After the submission deadline passes we’ll be putting up a shortlist of our favourite India photos – with links to their owners – and asking you to pick a winner.
And while the contest is mainly for fun and inspiration, there is a prize for the chosen winner!
This month our theme is The creatures of India. Our destination of the month is Pushkar in Rajasthan where the famous Pushkar Camel Fair takes place this month, attracting photographers from all over the world.
Your image can be of any of the creatures of India, maybe leopards spotted on safari, a flock of birds taking to the sky, cows pondering city life. We would especially like to see shots taken of animals in their natural habitat.
You can enter in four ways:
On Facebook: Just post your image to the wall as usual
On Flickr: Add your image to the Photo of the Month group
On Twitter: Tweet the image and include our Twitter name @indianhomestays
On the Blog: Leave us a comment below with a link to the image that you would like to enter.
You can enter more than once – you may submit up to 5 images if you wish. You may also re-enter an image you have submitted for a previous competition if you feel that it fits the theme, as long as it has not been previously short listed.
