Due to popular demand our homestay holiday auction is back! We have another four great holidays to give away with our new Homestay Holiday Auction competitions, giving you the chance to bid for some great holidays where the lowest unique bid wins!

How the competition works

Each week we offer a two night, three day break at one of our special homestay properties. To take part all you need to do is bid for the holiday, and the winner will be the person bidding the LOWEST unique price!

So, if you are the only person to bid 1Rs, then that is the price you will pay for your holiday! During our last contest holidays were won for as low as 2Rs!

To take part enter your bid details on our Facebook page entry form. Remember we are looking for the lowest UNIQUE bid. This means that if anybody else bids the same amount as you, you won’t be able to win. Please make sure you bid only in whole numbers, decimal entries will be discounted. There is a limit of three entries per person, anybody making more than three entries will be disqualified.

Week One: The prize

Lofty mountains, great lakes, dense forests, sprawling grasslands and miles of tea gardens and eucalyptus trees greet visitors to Ooty. The hill station itself is a land of picturesque picnic spots and stunning gardens.

Situated at an altitude of 2,240 meters above sea level Ooty is a popular summer retreat and is often reffered to as the “Queen of Hill Stations”. There are plenty of attractions and activities to keep visitors entertained, enjoy boating on Ooty Lake, exploring the famous botanical gardens and taking a ride on the picturesque Nilgiri Mountain Railway.

Our first auction is for two nights / three days at Aarani Cottage. Relax on the large veranda and take in the stunning views. Don’t miss out on sampling the hosts Badaga cuisine, as they are well known for their delicious cooking. This friendly homestay offers the perfect spot to unwind from busy life and enjoy the many activities in the area.

The holiday includes two nights in a classic room for two adults and a child under the age of eight.
