We had four images short-listed for the June Photo of the Month competition and for the last week you have been voting for your favourite. This month we were looking for an image that captures the essence of summer in India.

Congratulations to Ishaaq Petiwala who has been voted as the winner with his image of a boy enjoying a pond on a breaking summer day. The photo was taken at a pond in Borivali in Mumbai and certainly captures a good way to cool down from the summer heat.
