This package is available from Rs. 21,370 total price per person on twin sharing. Prices are valid until March 2013.
Goa has been described as a land where the fun never sets. Over 40 mesmerizing beaches dot the 131 km-long coastline and this fantastic value Goa tour will give you plenty of opportunity to relax and enjoy this hospitable state while experiencing the real India.
Day One: Margao, Goa
On your arrival in Margao, Goa you will be transferred to the Arco Iris Homestay. The bright yellow house stands vividly in the backdrop of one of the lakes of the Curtorim village. The large portico and the wide airy rooms are aesthetically done in the colours of the rainbow, after an innocuous declaration by their daughter – calling the house ‘a rainbow city’. The wide courtyard of the house and the hammocks outside call for lazing in or catching up on a good book. Suggested activities for the day include visiting the old churches of the Curtorim area.** The St. Alex Church built in 1597, makes a wonderful destination of a languid walk in the village. You can also opt for a picnic by the Zuari river* which can be combined with a boat ride.* The evening will give you the opportunity to taste the famous night life of Goa.**
Day Two: Margao, Goa
Spend your second day in Goa with a visit to Colva for a day of sun and sand. This popular beach also has plenty of opportunity for adventure enthusiasts with paragliding** and banana boat rides** both popular options. Goan beach shacks are the perfect place to stop for lunch. Being in the central area of Goa you can also opt to head a little further south to find some exclusive untouched beaches. In the evening you host can show you how to cook up some of your favorite konkan specials ***.
Day Three: Margao, Goa
Today visit Morjim, a village situated in north Goa in the Pernem district. It is home to a variety of birds and to the Olive Ridley turtle. Go shopping at the flea market. In the evening head out to the Casinos for some entertainment.**
Day Four: Sawantwadi, Maharashtra
Today you will be driven to the historic town of Sawantwadi in neighbouring Maharashtra. Tucked away on a small hillock near Sawantwadi is the picturesque Nandan Farms. The homestay is located in the middle of a 12-acre cashew, coconut, banana and pineapple farm. The mud walls, terracotta tiled roofs and solid wooden beams that support the sloping roof give a very earthy feel to this homestay. While retaining the old world charm of this house, the rooms are luxurious come with modern en-suite bathrooms. Enjoy a trip to the Sawantwadi Palace**, the island of Kurte where the 17th century Sindhudurg Fort** is situated and the Tarkarli Beach. You can also spend some time on the farm enjoying activities like a bullock cart ride*, bird watching and a guided tour of the mango and cashew orchards.***.
Day Five: Sawantwadi, Maharashtra
There are several options for excursions today. Situated within a 25 kilometers radius of this homestay are Vengurla; a place dotted with pristine beaches, Amboli; a British era hill station and Mangeli Waterfalls, among others.**
Day Six: Sawantwadi, Maharashtra
Take the final opportunity to relax on the farm before your transfer back to the airport for your flight back home.
Your Goa holiday tour includes:
Five nights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis, with your choice of a delicious home cooked Indian meal at either lunch or dinner time daily. We are a family of 4 adults including two children. Please let me know the details of the package including stay for all 4 of us. Do you have a 2 bedroom suite where all 4 of us can stay togather?
We would also prefer b’fast and dinner to be included in the package. We would be coming from Mumbai by Air. Is sight seeing included in the package?
Would appreciate a total price.

Great stay at the Arco Iris with Beni, Ganesh and the guests over the latter part of December. Very hospitable and helpful and the location gives a different view of Goa that’s away from the crowds and beaches and tucked away near the Western Ghats. A thoroughly pleasurable stay for those requiring some peace and tranquillity.
