We have another great Twitter contest for you. All you need to do to enter is guess the Indian city based on it’s famous landmarks pictured below!

The competition will run until the 28th September and after that we will pick a winner at random from all the correct entries. The winner can choose to have either a $30 USD or £20 GBP Amazon.com voucher.

Need a clue? The city pictured is a major city in South India in one of it’s prettiest states. Its known for its famous Chinese fishing nets and old Portuguese churches and mansions.

The winner will be drawn at random from all correct entries received before the closing date.
The winner will be notified via a direct message on Twitter. If we are unable to contact the first person drawn in this way we will select an alternative winner.
The prize is a choice of either a $30 USD voucher or Amazon.com or £20 GBP on Amazon.co.uk depending on your country of residence. No alternatives or prize substitutes can be made.

Competition winners announced

A huge congratulations to all our recent competition winners!

In June we have given away some great prizes with six competitions running for you to enter. These included a three week tour of India for two people in our travel photography competition, holidays to Nainital, Thekkady, Ooty and Jodhpur in our Homestay Holiday Auction contests and a $30/£20 Amazon.com voucher in our Guess the City competition.

We received hundreds of entries and all the winners have now been chosen!

TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

We received some fantastic photos as entries to our travel photography competition and it took the judges some time to narrow down the winner. The standard of entry was very high so a huge congratulation to Maresa Esmee Smith from Watford in the UK who wins a three week tour of India for two people.

Maresa submitted the three entries below into the contest, showing her talent as a photographer in mixed lighting conditions with the ability to capture fantastic natural portrait shots of people.

We can’t wait to see the images Maresa takes on her trip to India which will see her visiting some of the most diverse sights of India including the Tibetan settlements of Dharamshala in North India, the iconic cities of Agra and Rajasthan, enjoying a houseboat experience in Jammu and Kashmir and experiencing a night time safari in the wildlife and big cat haven of Pali.

HOMESTAY HOLIDAY AUCTIONS

We’ve already announced some of our homestay holiday auction winners. Congratulations again to Jayanthi Sridhar who won a trip to Ooty for just Rs. 14.

Congratulations also to Bimal Mohta who wins a trip to Nainital for just Rs. 7.

Bimal was delighted to be picked as the winner and says, “I learnt about contest on the Mahindra Homestays website and entered just to have fun to try my luck. I am delighted to win the contest look forward to taking up my prize where I can stay with my family amidst nature and natural surroundings.”

We were also giving away a holiday to Jodhpur and the lucky winner was Sanjay Jain with a bid of Rs. 8.

Sanjay was delighted to win and told us, “Winning a holiday always is a great pleasure. One more chance to take a break with family, one more chance to explore.”

Our popular guess the city competition saw a lot of correct entries! Did you get the answer right?
